They are disappointed of course, but seemed getting fed up with SE's bad habit.

Because SE always passed the dead-end of schedules and never fulfill their roadmaps at each time you see, nearly lost any expectation about this stuff.

So it's very usual lol.
Even Square Enix has confirmed a hefty line-up of games for E3 last week but new FF14 was not included.

There might be better way to show the rebirth of FF14 rather than in E3 perhaps as Yoshida says, however It's no doubt of SE clearly DID skip the expectation of newbies and trust of veterans, not only the trailer.
