These days varis unsyc is easier and quicker than normal ew story bosses. Same with ruby. Emerald and diamond might take a little more watching out for mechanics tho and a few wipes to get the jist.

There is still some prog in Memoria extreme, but I've done it with people who have no idea what they are doing. Once everyone gets used to the stack locations and a few other things, they can clear. If they are struggling, they will build up echo stacks until they clear. The hardest parts nearer the end get skipped and seeing the spread mechanic is rare. Weakness from dying doesn't matter as long as everyone gets a raise so they can continue attacking, so red mages help.
Ruby and Diamond are easy now. New players are accepted into Diamond farms because it's easy to teach it to them. The hardest parts either get skipped or don't matter, especially if the tanks use reprisal. I haven't done Emerald since but after the first mechanic it's pretty forgiving if there are people to raise.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

The good news is, those may be the only two EX-exclusive cards (besides Thordan, which is easy unsynced) and there are no Savage-exclusive cards (yet).
I started my TT hunt in February of this year. I had a lot of ARR cards from spamming dungeons and doing all the content there was to do. Thankfully, about 280ish cards were "easy" to get. I already had pre-requisites done for most of them. I probably went from 80-280 cards in a few weeks.
However, I never opened Bozja or learned any BLU spells. Bozja was just a grind. I had help from strangers along the way to clear... whatever that second dungeon was where you have to PF it since no one ever queues. Eventually got the Bozja Clusters and cleared the story so I could get those cards.
BLU was easier than I thought. I was able to solo every spell I needed following some guy's guide to BLU. I wound up really like BLU by the end of it and worked on some more spells for laughs.
I was able to solo/duo all the dungeon/trial cards from HW to SB. Even got the Nine Tails mount along the way which was a nice surprise.
The final slog of SHB cards mostly involved trials and the 24-man raids. I took a break for most of ShB, so I only cleared the three 24-man once, the trials once for MSQ and never even touched the weapon fights. Currently, I'm down to just two cards: Emerald Weapon and the 3 Weapon Ex fights for the tokens to get G-Warrior.
I took a break to work on other things though. I'm 0/whatever on Emerald and I haven't had much luck finding parties to clear the Ex Weapon trials. But, I'll finish it up eventually.
50+ Hades Extreme and 50+ Hades Normal with no drop yet.
I'm hoping it drops from normal, because I don't feel like doing Extreme anymore.
The Roegyden guard waaaaaay in the back of Kugane. Been trying to get one card off of him on and off for weeks. I win most of the time and half the time he'll give me the same card i already won. One time I beat him almost 11 times in a row and got almost out of all those wins the same exact card i already have and not the one I want! xD
Top 3 Worst.
Hab was feeling extremely stingy. Hildi & Nashu card took 125 wins.
Swift. Took 103 wins to get Raubahn.
Eden's Promise 51 E12N runs.
Sometimes rumors are just... rumors.
Zidane card.
That's it.
I've lost count of how many millions of MGP I've spend on Gold Packs, I still don't have it.
Bozja and BLU NPCs I still have to unlock to play against them, but that's just a matter of time, so...
"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
my biggest grief is chaos ruleset, it turn what is generally consistent win rate into frustration... im at 280 cards atm, so still a ways to go
