What Is Your Favorite Plot In Empyreum?

Hey all. Just curious which are becoming favs. Post your preferred plots here and let us know why. If you aren't at fan then let us know... why not. Apologies if this has already been posted. I couldn't find any with a search.

I was really digging plot 30/60 by the bath houses. It is secluded and enjoys easy access to the amenities nearby. I also like Plot 12. It's close to the mb and I love the cute snowy area nearby.

30/60 is grossly overrated.

You have no view.
No aetheryte.
The market board is not only far away, but in staircase, of all places.
Pool is a joke compared to a LB6, LB 11, anything next to the Brimming Heart/Hot Springs or beachfront Mist.
Prone to deco-terrorism with 28/58 and 29/59 given that they share the same elevation and are not separated by any landmark/objects between them.

12/42 is arguably the best large in that area followed by 22/42

I like plot 9: decent view, no neighbours and a nice gazebo in the corner. However Empyreum is my least favorite housing district of all. I find it too gray, the stone alleys in the middle are way too wide creating huge empty spaces with no atmosphere, the weather is bad and there is snow. It’s a depressing place. Still I’d be happy with a small there.

Plot 1 is the best, imo. There's view, there's free space with a jump puzzle, it's close to the exit and aetheryte, and market board is just there. I was aiming for a small for my FC anyway, so the choice was obvious.

the weather is bad

Strangely enough this isn't really true. I've noticed weather is frequently Fair/Clear at my FC's house, even when Firmament and Ishgard proper have snow for the weather.

Just checked the Skywatcher at the Foundation Aetheryte and got the following messages:

In Ishgard it is currently overcast. The forecast calls for extended snow. Tomorrow at this time, the area should be fair.

In Empyreum it is currently overcast. The forecast calls for extended clear skies. Tomorrow at this time, the area should be foggy.

Could be they're swapping snow in Ishgard to clear skies for housing? Would take a bit of tracking to confirm.

I think most of the gloom in Empyreum comes from the brooding stone architecture. I agree it tends to be a depressing looking place though I'm getting a little attached to my FC's small right across from the "snowman park".

I own a 60 large on Sophia for my FC and I have a 57 small for my Mateus alts which i like a lot. Relative to Materia/Sophia my FC house is the only one taken and is still empty. If they open them to mixed wards I might entertain the idea of getting a private next to the FC.

I like Mist Plot 15 and 30 my house and FC, much better than cold Empyrium ^^

Ishgard is the second worst district for me(worst is Shirogane) but plot 28 is nice, has a decent view.
I only like smalls, so thats about it.

I adore med at 2/32 -- if i remembered that correctly(?).

But yeah, loving that. I like it when there is some extra fixtures close by outside plot like that plot has that gazebo(?)/fancy lookout point(?). (ꈍᴗꈍ)
