From what I've heard DNC works with a coordinated team. Boy howdy does the current matchmaking allow for coordinated teams, right? But that's another can of worms entirely

They could just combine Purify with Fetterward (5s complete CC immunity (even MoN)). That way you could preemptively use it when you know the CC deluge is coming, giving players more flexibility.

With that you run the risk of players popping it and just diving face first into the enemy team OR still getting chain CC'd once it ends because there's way too much of it as it stands anyway.
