    Just tone down the amount of crowd control effects to half. Not every (except dragoon :^)) DPS needs a million fucking stuns and roots and silences, especially considering just how shit purify is. CC should be a tank and healer thing, not EVERYONE (except dragoon of course). It's just absolutely obnoxious and way overkill how you can chain CC someone because everyone knows how well purify functions, right? It's just baffling how the development team behind PvP thought this was a good idea. [sup]And let's not forget the overbuffing of black mage because yoshi plays it kek[/sup]

    Uhhh excuse me, they said they weren't being biased...

    On a more serious note, they either need to make purify better (Which means you get instagibbed the moment you are vulnerable to CC) or tone down CC to make the game not annoying. I have a feeling they will go with the third option of making the problem even worse.

    I don't think they could do anything about purify since it's all related to server ticks and that stupid shit. So the other option would be gutting like half the CC effects which would actually make the fucking mode playable, but that would mean admitting fault. They're not going to make it better

Then take fetter ward out of the game, and give stuns back to all melee except inexplicably for one which gets screwed. Cant give that melee anything cause its already such a game breaker in CC as is i guess was the reasoning. I agree it would have been better to have left the CC only for tanks and healers but then that would probably necessitate that the matches have a specific format like feast used to. In high levels of fights CC is everything so it would make certain party configurations much more optimal then others.

    Isn't that already the case anyway? The meta is already blatantly obvious with RDM, WHM, WAR dominating with the sheer amount of crowd control they provide. And others I don't know of. The only balancing factor here is the random matchmaking, which is a horrid balancing mechanic. DPS jobs should at best have slows or stuff like that imo. Not hard lockdown effects.

    God, I'm just baffled by the fact that all these jobs get this fucking stupid amount of CC baked into their DPS rotations ON TOP OF THEIR DAMAGE. But DRG is a biiiig issue with their LB that has very simple counterplay, or their one dash move that gets used offensively anyway :^) Sorry, my salt got the better of me.
    This shit is why PvP needs weekly patches. Say what you want about League of legends but the weekly balance changes at least sorta keep it in check.

    They could just combine Purify with Fetterward (5s complete CC immunity (even MoN)). That way you could preemptively use it when you know the CC deluge is coming, giving players more flexibility.

    Or option 4, overcorrect so hard that every match turns into an endless zergfest until someone finally runs out of MP to heal and is too slow to leg it and use their Elixir.

    Its role is to buff someone whos always dead or on the other side of the map. Nothing more. We don't exist beyond being a free kill.

    With that you run the risk of players popping it and just diving face first into the enemy team OR still getting chain CC'd once it ends because there's way too much of it as it stands anyway.

    Dancer is guard breaker and need to work with team on call out
    It looks to me you are playing it wrong.
