Many players have expressed concern about involvement or immersion in Eorzea.

Quests with NPCs giving back story on the many areas in Eorzea were one way to improve immersion and involvement. And the Development Team is working on this.

All The Small Things add up to an overall enjoyable and immersive game experience. My hope is that we can give the developers some ideas. I would like players to post their ideas on how to improve the above.

Ill start with one other example.

Players begin their time in Eorzea with all maps. This is convenient but maybe too convenient. It adds nothing to the players sense of adventure or discovery. Beginning without any maps would have been a better immersion into the game world. Perhaps having an NPC to buy the maps from would have been a better idea.

For Example, an NPC in one of the major towns could tell the player to visit a world renowned cartographer that lives in one of the out-port towns (Aleport, for example). The player would have to then find her way to the out-port town, find the NPC that sells the maps and then buy the maps.

The above example is simple enough. It would require ①NPC Interaction ②Gil Aquisition ③World Exploration and maybe ④Communication with other Players. All of which are quite easy to accomplish and improve Immersion in the game environment, Eorzea.

Or maps could be rewards for certain Guild-Leves.

Something in-between. Not too hard to acquire but not super difficult either. But surely better than just having the maps from the beginning.

Please post any ideas you have for small improvements. Hopefully the development team will take a look at this thread. \(^o^ノ
