http://www.nooooooooooooooo.com/The devs, Visual Works, Sound, PR—everyone did their part and the trailer itself was completed and ready for release at E3. But during our most recent global PR planning meeting, we came to the conclusion that the most effective way to introduce version 2.0 to the world would be with a flood of new material rather than just a trickle.
This. was the fucking funniest thing i have ever seen in my entire life. My day with all the bad stuff happening was just made. Thank You Yuki =D
Agree with darth vader![]()
This wording seemed odd to me and I think it is the result of a mistranslation. Wouldn't it be the public unveiling of 2.0? For a second I thought they were actually releasing 2.0. XDWell, the public release of version 2.0 is set to kickoff with this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. We also plan to unveil a brand new promotion site for version 2.0 soon after E3 ends.
When all else fails, Heck the Bed.
So nothing at E3 then, I'm pretty sure there was a lot more questions than that in the poll, where are the rest of the results?
He's showing Translators Mercy :P, Early Next week= Next letterI should probably show some mercy to the very busy translators and bring this letter to a close! My next letter is already written up, and will be released sometime early next week.
Since i joined up XIV from Oct, 2011... and i think what i thought is true... SE team doesn't have enough people to finish the project. Not means they are bad, they are good indeed.. But they need more human resources to work for each contentThe enjoyment of our players is extremely important to us, and once 2.0 begins, we’ll be merging the current version and version 2.0 dev teams into one consolidated powerhouse that will continue bringing you as much new content as we can in the shortest span of time possible!
hmmm... maybe they need to gain trust about how XIV will be succeed in future then they might hire some of new people to work. As far as i can tell is the modeling about the character, stuff like gears, new item, monsters and the world itself takes time most
well, i surprised as well about : Q3/Q4. Do you think the pace of leveling up Disciplines of War and Magic classes is appropriate? (When not power leveling, mind you.). For me the leveling system went too fast and can get all battle jobs to 50 in no time, well as new player i don't get PL too much i wait for shout at Ul'dah everyday. Compare to XI, 4 jobs to 75 in a year at 2008~2009 (i almost play everyday more than 6 hours) lol *BUT FUN AND CHALLENGING*
So, for people who likes to fight monsters than craft there will be nothing to do to level after got all battle jobs capped. This is one of XIV biggest weakness
ps : sorry for my bad English, feel free to share your thoughts![]()
I thought he meant no trailer but they are gonna show other things....?

In order to make version 2.0 a success, we need to appeal to not only our current players (naturally!), but also as many new players as possible, including PS3 owners. I really am sorry for the changes to the roadmap, but I really hope you understand that they were made with appealing to as many of you as possible in mind. We want to place the highest priority on keeping the 2.0 development schedule on track and on time, and prepare a large-scale promotional campaign filled with mind-blowing stuff!
