Massive stuttering when loading characters...

Hi, I've been dealing with stuttering for a while now and have no clue how to fix it. From what I remember the problem started when I changed the graphics settings from max to lowest. My computer screen went black for a little bit and I reinstalled the game because it wouldn't launch anymore. Eventually I found out that a setting in an ini file got changed so I switched that and the game would launch but I started to have this stuttering problem.

My computer is pretty good so I'm at a loss as to why I'd be having an issue. Every time I load up the game it seems fine until a certain point then it starts to lag and stutter heavily while loading. When I get into the game whenever I move around or turn the camera it starts to lag/stutter and my fps drops from 100 to around 3. The problem seems to get worse if there are more characters on screen. I also noticed that sometimes when I log in the I won't have the issue.

Would appreciate any help or advice you can give me for fixing this issue.

- Are you using a wired or wireless connection?
- Do you have any firewalls or anti-virus software installed on the machine if are using a Mac or Windows PC? If so, which ones do you have installed?
- Internet Service Provider
- Location/Region you are in (Not in game, your actual location)
- Does any specific error message/code occur when the issue happens?
- Does the issue only happen with one specific character or time frame? Please clarify.
- Have you tried uninstalling your graphics card driver and reinstalling/updating to the latest one from scratch?
- Have you attempted to a do file check repair in the game client to make sure all game files are installed properly? A complete uninstall and reinstall of the game may be in order.
- Is there anything running in the background that possibly might be causing interference with the game such as Discord, another game, etc?
