head desk. Please stop ding this. I am sick and tiered of the amount of Homophobia and Transphobia these threads bring. It's even worse because the Forum MOD doesn't uphold the same standards that are upheld in game.

By FAR Elezen is the most popular race among trans individuals and Square Enix would actually do a lot of good for their image by acknowledging the trans community by giving them an Elezen-themed seasonal event. It is disappointing that they have not done so.

As a Transgender Woman, I will have to fully disagree. Yes, I play Elezen, but I already know that the Majority of Trans women around the world who play this game, play Miqo'te and Au Ra. This I know due to being is several LGBTQAI+ Discord Groups.

You wouldn't get banned for this in-game, either. What you find phobias is the just standard view that people have. You are just not exposed to it because you're in a bubble. The forum's intended purpose is to burst those bubbles and have different communities converse with one another. So just because you do not like what one community has to say does not give you the right to have them banned. They aren't harming you, nor are they advocating for your removal either.

Show them the same courtesy you would show your friends, take their concerns seriously and try to see them from their point of view. Maybe if you showed empathy, others would show it to you in kind.

A video game with a target market of 13 is not the place to discuss this. Twitter or the internet forum designed for more mature interactions would be a more appropriate option.

This might be true. But for the Trans Gamer community, Catgirls, Fall Out New Vegas, Skirts that go spin, and shoes that go click clack are more important, in fact finding the perfect pair of programmer socks is almost a uniform.
