You want salvage!Sorta, but make the dungeon 3 times as big and add alot more content to it. Make it where you cannot do everything in 1 run.
No more mini boss => mainboss.
I want multiple NMs, some rare spawn in there. I want farmable force spawns in there. I want side quest in there. I want things that trigger spawns in there.
Issue regarding timers from what I've seen the timers usually give more than enough time for a party to clear the content accordingly the only time I've actually been close to time running out is when multiple wipes had occurred.
I can understand SOME dungeons requiring a speedrun to reap the most benefits, but basing every single raid off of this is starting to get really really dull.
I hate these timed intances too, it awards leave the mobs behind, it have no sense, these last 2 dungeons (aurum and cutters) obbey you to kill some but i think it continues to be stupid, bosses which needs speed to kill them beacuse of enrage mode or something its ok but not the entire dungeon.
??? Do people actually run out of time on these missions?
I don't really see what the problem is. They need to have timers on those instances because otherwise, people could be in them forever and block others from entering.
Lol implying there is a timer for that reason in the first way. If they wanted dungeons to be less crowded, we would have a higher cooldown instead. 1hr timer doesn't prevent you to retry the dungeon as much as you want. As for "people could be in forever", just add an AFK/inactivity timer, says 1 hour without doing anything gets you kicked.
Other games have "endless" raid areas and it isn't an issue. Time for SE to invest into proper servers.

It's the speed run that is the issue, If a dungeon has a 60minute timer on it then I should be able to spend 60 minutes in said dungeon and still have a chance of obtaining all possible loot. Having to skip past mobs I would like to fight just to get to the end of the dungeon as fast as possible is crazy! surely SE want us to experience and explore the dungeons and not skip through them all to fight a boss. Hell may as well just make them a boss battle with a timer and not bother with the dungeon.

Speed run is the issue, bring us a 4-5hr long Dynamis Ul'dah, Dynamis Gridania and Dynamis Limsa Lominsa (or something similar to not completly clone FFXI)
And make us come back every other day for 3 years to get the drops we want
Oh and if they removed the timers and allowed solo players in, I would get as many people as I could to afk in them, just to conjest them and show you all why timers are required (also if the timers are causing you problems, you are doing something wrong.)

As far as drop rates and timers, i've already expounded on this a lot, but what I would like to see for the standard typical dungeon/content is "2 times per day." Not 12 hours, because you probably won't be able to use both times a day even if you want to. E.g. you use a variant on the leve timer where you have 2 charges come back (with a maximum of 2) each day.
Higher cooldowns would not prevent this kind of abuse. That being said, I'd still like to see what I described above, 1-2 times a day.
