Perhaps there is some very good reason this isn't possible currently but, since you can trade things to other players cross-world and do quests/dungeons with other players cross-world, it seems logical that friends on different worlds would be able to attend a wedding. Is there a reason this has not been implemented in the game yet?

Hubby and I were waiting until cross-datacenter play was opened up before scheduling our in-game wedding for all our friends, not knowing that you currently cannot actually host friends from other worlds (much less different datacenters) for your wedding. Our group of friends used to play a different game together and when we all quit that and moved to Final Fantasy folks picked different worlds, and in some cases even different datacenters, to play on because some in the group had already been playing FF for a long time - separately.

Please - if there is a way to make this possible it would really mean so much. I know that you can technically just roll an alt on someone else's world to attend their wedding, but that can often take away from the experience because that alt won't have any glams or will have to spend a bunch of money on the MB to dress up for the event.

Since things are designed the way they are right now, that's what hubby and I will make our plans around. However, I wanted to throw this suggestion out there because I didn't see anything like it posted anywhere and I know others have been impacted by it too (I just attended a wedding for someone else where it was discussed).
