For me: Big bun top-knots, warrior buns, different styles of dreadlocks, and various braids, Taisho era inspired nihongami.
anything basically steering away from main hero type hairstyles as much as possible for me personally, what about you!

Elezen and Roe have cute hairstyles and I want them so bad.

Hideous idea, totally against this. SE shouldn't have to go back and waste their time fixing race specific hair to work on all races. Why go back when we can just look forward and have more new options?

I'm still allowed to state my opinion on your idea and why it shouldn't be implemented. I'm very against the idea of removing race-lock so I don't understand people's obsession with making all races the same when that would be a very horrible idea.

You've been asked for any hairstyle and your immediate reaction is to remove race lock? You want SE to spend their time alternating pre existing race-exclusive hairstyles instead of spending it bringing in new ones? It's a waste of time. Think bigger.
If you want Elezen or Roe hairstyles, switch your race to either of those races. You're not bound to play a Lalafell.

And I never suggested that only hairstyles I want should be implemented. I like people suggesting unique and genuine ideas, you know, bring something productive to the table? 'remove race-lock' is such a bland suggestion.

What's the practical difference between giving you a new hairstyle that to some people is an old hairstyle, and giving a fully new one?

Either way, you get something new, and reusing the old ones is less modelling work than a new one from scratch.

Besides, people look at "that specific hairstyle" and want it. Why move on to something else before fulfilling the specific request?

Better curly hairstyles.

I'm black (well, part black, but my complexion and hair make me look full-black), and when I heard there was an afro in-game, I beelined right for it...



...only to find that it's just a disco 'fro. The fact that it basically eats your forehead made it unusable for me. Some better curly stuff would be great, to reflect the natural hair texture and common hairstyles that I and those like me have and use. While I like the long hair and the pompadour, they're far from my preferred look.

I'd kill for stuff like...

...but I sadly don't ever see it happening.

Now I'm not going to pull the 'diversity' or 'inclusivity' cards, because that's just stupid. Nor am I going to say that the lack of hairstyles like these makes the game worse; far from it. But it would go that little extra step toward making the game more immersive for people like me. :^)

Any longer hairstyles for the males. Tired of all the feminine ones we keep getting with bows and curls. Give me stuff like Kuja’s hairstyle or Gladio’s.
