In FFXIV if you defeat a boss, you get guaranteed loot. In WoW you have 20% chance of getting anything and 5% chance of getting the one thing you want per boss. You need to spend 3 months farming the same boss for a 50% chance to get one BIS.
Except for things like alli raids, its not even guaranteed if you get anything for your role. and in things like savage pf, youre not guaranteed to get loot every single clear, which means needing to resort to multiple clears just to try and get a single piece of loot.
