Because like the above comment said, it gets deleted elsewhere, the only other major platform we have is Reddit...It's interesting because the only place I ever see criticism about the story is here on the official forums and on the Shitpost XIV subreddit.
I'm sure it's got to be in other places out there on the internet, but most of the social media places that devote more than a paragraph to any given story or lore discussion are overall quite satisfied with how things played out. (That includes most Twitter threads.)
Here, out of the hundreds of thousands of XIV players, there are only a few hundred, but a vastly higher concentrated source of negativity.
The housing crisis debacle is a quagmire of SE's own making, but the introduction of the lottery system is a result of their listening to feedback from the players, who begged for that system so we could stop fighting against click bots.
And also because the dev team already said they don't look into Reddit to begin with and instead look at their own official forums.
Because yes, let's all complain elsewhere the devs won't look at nor have any direct affiliation with Square Enix.
Think, player, think!!!
The best part though is we know they dont look here either.Because like the above comment said, it gets deleted elsewhere, the only other major platform we have is Reddit...

Damn, XIV really is only capable of ripping other games off. And not even well.Hate to be the one to break this to you, but the loporrits are NOT new at all. You might want to take a look at previous FF games.
To wit:

They have been part of established lore in the FF universe for a very long time.
You...didnt know?

Its their franchise, their creation. How are they "ripping off" anything? Thats like telling a novelist not to use characters from their own books. Dont be utterly ridiculous.Damn, XIV really is only capable of ripping other games off. And not even well.
Oh and just to make a specific point...anyone that criticises the story and then asks me who Zodiark is? Either:
1. Didnt play it
2. Used a story skip.
3. Skips all cutscenes.
Zamn. Yoshi and CBIII created the entirety of FF? I should've known they were just pulling from what they made then! Its their franchise, their creation. How are they "ripping off" anything? Thats like telling a novelist not to use characters from their own books. Dont be utterly ridiculous.

You see why your ass backwards comparison to a novelist doesn't work, I hope.

Zamn. Yoshi and CBIII created the entirety of FF? I should've known they were just pulling from what they made then!andFinal Fantasy IV,[2] known as Final Fantasy II for its initial North American release, is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix)
CB3 is an internal unit within Square Enix, which created FF 4.Creative Business Unit III (第三開発事業本部, Dai San Kaihatsu Jigyō Honbu?), formerly known as Business Division 5 (第5ビジネス・ディビジョン, Dai Go Bijinesu Dibijon?), is an internal development division within Square Enix. Headed by Naoki Yoshida, Creative Business Unit III develops and maintains both Final Fantasy MMOs, as well as the Dragon Quest Builders series.
Same company. Same access to all content created by said company. CB3 is an internal team only, and remains part of Square Enix. You see why your ass backwards comparison to a novelist doesn't work, I hope.
Hence my analogy is dead right.
N... No it's not. A publisher of a book doesn't get to pull from different of its own books to make a new book with a new writer. Trust me. Contracts are a thing.
But keep thrashing and pretending your opinion matters. Lord knows you're too braindead to engage with seriously.

Looks like you missed that. I guess you also missed the combat music inside Bestways Burrows.
