Is there anyway that the losers of lotteries can receive their Gil back via mail or NPC?

A recent thread showed one plot that possessed 300+ bids. Which means having a large number of people returning to that specific plot for the duration of the results period. It’s bad enough folks lost their chance at a home in-game, but it feels like their faces are being rubbed into it.

So, turn it into a positive; when you go to collect the gil, do what we did in ye olde FCFS days when someone else won... cheer, pop the realm reborn red, songbird, and all the other good emotes, to let the winner know you are happy they won.

Well that just plain sucks. Just another thing to deal with, I suppose.

Honestly it doesn't bother me going back to collect my Gil. Yes, I didn't win the Lottery. On the plus side, I got my Gil back and there is always a smidgeon of hope for future lotteries. Plus, sometimes it's fun to see what kind of house sprang up on the plot you were trying for. If you are polite and cheerful about it, the new owner might even be willing and happy to give you a tour.

....im pretty sure thats the point. if theres people who forget / dont want to collect the gil thats one more way to combat inflation

Would taking friend or two with you help if going back to the plot you tried to win is so painful?
Not belittling anyone's feelings here, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression that results from it are real things.

Should just make the money available from any Resident Caretaker, like items reclaim.

Make it so you buy via the areas... when you look at residential area in limsa/Kugane/Ishgaard... and make your lottery ticker from there if you lose, pick up from that location insteadof having to goto the plot.
