I think when the policy was made at the time, people believed (and alot of us did) that it would be a short brutal affair in Eastern Europe, when it became obvious this would be a long term conflict the policy became unfeasible.

I applaud Square Enix for trying to help in some way, but I never thought it was feasibly gonna work when it became clear the conflict in Eastern Europe was going to be long term.
