You've made a lot of ignorant posts in the past several weeks but I think this one has the others beat by a wide margin.
Omnicrafting has nothing to do with owning a house and gardening. It simply means someone has taken the time to level all the crafting classes.
I never lack for access to any crafting materials I need. The marketboard exists for a reason.
You don't need airships or submersibles to craft.
Generating FC Company Credits is pointless once you reach a certain point because they're generated faster than they're used and the leftovers aren't especially good for making gil because too many FCs are likewise using them in the same few ways available to make gil off them.
FC Rank past 15 is currently pointless as it offers no additional entitlements worth having. Run out of FC actions? It just takes a moment to go to the GC and buy more. Having more inactive actions isn't worth the bother.
[side question: why did SE increase Rank to 30 when they haven't bothered to add new entitlements past Rank 20?]
No, the other poster was perfectly accurate in what they stated. Someone can be an omnicrafter without having access to the items obtained through crossbreeding. Most omnicrafters focus on making gear and none of what is unique to crossbreeding is used to make gear.
Just because someone bypasses certain ways to make gil in favor of pursuing other opportunities does not mean they're not an omnicrafter.
Have nothing to do with crafting.
I don't need to grow Voidrake or Althyk Lavender as everything available at Curious Crop exchange is available through other means - gathering, vendors, treasure maps, marketboard.
Voidrake and Althyk Lavender provide a measure of convenience if you need one of the materials that can be purchased on short notice but growing them is not mandatory.
Why on earth would I worry about getting Potter's Stone? Demand for Faerie Chandeliers is low. If I really wanted to make one, then I'd buy the Potter's Stone cheap off the MB. There's plenty there because few people buy the Chandeliers.
Who says I or others want to make exteriors? To me, using the Fabrication Station isn't crafting, it's a separate form of content. You might effectively need to be an omnicrafter to use the Fabrication Station efficiently; you don't need to be using a Fabrication Station to be an omnicrafter.
Get over yourself. You don't get to dictate how others choose to play the game.
You can see a profit off a garden patch almost immediately.
It's the workshop that takes time to turn a profit.
