As has been explained repeatedly, FC Wards are created because they have the potential to service the most players with a home. If you have an FC that isn't terrible, you have can talk about what the house should look like, and have your own room as well. When housing first arrived, it was FC, and then eventually opened to private houses. It is possible they will eventually do the same here.

The reason why there are 350 VACANT FC PLOTS is that people can only bid on one plot. Unless the FC has hundreds of millions of gil, they can't have every member bid on multiple options, and most people want a medium or large. So they are going to bid on the mediums and larges first, and then later go for the small. The fact that even two (really only one) lotteries have been held doesn't change that fact. The FC wards will fill up after a few cycles are complete.

So yeah, I'd agree with you. Most of your complaint is really loss-raging.

You are missing the point entirely, You say someone can talk about decorating an FC, and have their own room, sure they could, but that same person in an FC, can also go buy a private. So why limit the amount of private plots/wards. And you are wrong, FC's can bid on MULTIPLE PLOTS. As to where a personal, you can only bid on one. And I've had this thought process on it before the first lottery even ended, I've felt this way since they announced the FC to personal ratio. I'm just now going public on the forum about it.

I don't mind the lotto system, per say, but I'm really annoyed that there's no "fair" way to upgrade. For example: my FC has been sitting in our small for about 4-5 years now, and have tried to upgrade after we had enough money saved, but at that point covid happened and auto demo was taken off, overpopulation, etc. Then once auto demo started back up they took away the option to auto-transfer, so we never even got the chance to upgrade before the lotto happened. It sounds bad, but I even considered RMT at one point to upgrade because I knew it would be nearly impossible to get an upgrade. We obviously lost the lotto the first round (and had to wait weeks to find out we lost), and ofc we lost again today. So it's extremely frustrating knowing that a brand new player/fc can just up and get a large/med on their first try, when our fc had to grind and do the clicking game and are stuck in our small for who knows how long now since inventory is dwindling d/t our servers population.

I just wish they offered some sort of solution for people who want to upgrade, or even just had more housing. I don't know what the solution would be lol, but it's really disappointing that auto-transfers aren't a thing anymore, and we didn't have an alternative solution for fcs like mine. We still are very happy to have gotten our house a few years ago when it wasn't as congested, and we love our house, but we're growing and we would like to have room for our events. At this point, we're just filling up the basement in our small lol

Theres just that big of a gap between Supply and Demand. The system needs a permanent solution.

After seeing howmany people were bidding on houses, it should be obvious that the current system can never support this game's playerbase.

The system can, make it like apartments, once a ward fills, it auto adds another. so if wards 19-24 are full, 25 shows up for its cycle, 25 fills? 26 shows up for its cycle.

I don't think some of you paid much attention to the announcements or the live letters. . . also you're only thinking of your OWN servers and not how other servers are doing with these FC wards.

They legit said they were gonna eventually add 10 extra wards to each district soon. Most likely these will all be personals so your complaints will soon be answered! On top of that, you'll soon get an island that's going to be better than private houses soon. . . So 10 extra wards and an island for you private house owners. Seriously the whining for private plots is just redundant and all you need to do is be patient for more to be added and help with that.


As for FC houses. . .
Other big servers like Balmung are actually pretty crowded and full of FCs. So servers like that need those large amounts of FC wards and surprisingly they are STILL not enough.
You may ask "Why don't those people just transfer to another server then!?" Well, dear Watson, this isn't elementary and it's not that simple. There are plenty who are too happy with the server they are in due to friends, their friends' friends, and maybe people like me with multiple characters for RP who do NOT want to spend $80 or so just to transfer all of them. I think SE had a kind solution to that but it still adds the worry of 'is it a good idea? Do I want to? Will it be a mistake? What if I lose my house here and don't get one there?" So it scares people away from doing so because it's a lot of uncertainty and possibly already comfortable in their current server
So you say there's too many FC wards and I say there's not enough.

My biggest issue is the waiting fucking 5 days for gawd damn bidding results that really messes with my stress and anxiety. . . I have to either stop playing the game or go do something else just so I can stop worrying about a digital house that I can't help but really want for RP reasons. Thankfully I have a small house already in the ugly goblet but unfortunately, my ex won that plot and I really want to relo to run from those lingering memories. . . So I'm stuck while facing my terrible luck that's required for relocating.

Personally, I think they should scrap this whole housing thing and redo it. Do we really need neighbors? Can we all just have our own ward with NPC neighbors instead? Maybe owning your own ward for FC members to have their own private house in? Make it a FC village? Cause all this competing for something that's SUPER limited that people are gonna REALLY crave and want is just going to keep adding issues and complaints. These sort of complaints are never gonna go away if they are limited and have to strongly compete for it.

It sucks because this actually might be one of my reasons for quitting the game if I end up deciding to do so. I really want to relocate and live in a certain spot in this game but a digital house is not worth this kind of stress. . .

But it's also peoples choice which server they go onto to, obv Balmung is popular as heck as we both know why. It's known across ALL DC's for it. I'm on Excalibur myself, I think the most popular server on Primal, I didn't know at the time when i joined, I only joined it cause of friends I played with at the time had characters on it.

But ok cool, theyre adding in 10 more wards, when? And are these wards gonna be private ONLY? or they gonna make 7 for fc and 3 for private? these are things we don't know.

Personally I think FC's are trash and trying to push people into one is trash. Most FC's ive been in, have their own little groups and people get excluded from things, the only good thing that comes from an FC is the buffs. that's it.

The biggest problem is the silence, its been a while since they announced and we got nothing, no word on it, we have no idea how it works and it scares me that they know this is happening while IS being a thing.

I believe the 10 ward is coming in 6.2. It wasn't mentioned if private only but I would assume so since the amount of private wards is smaller. They're adding more glamour dresser inventory space then too so they probably plan to do more 'space' of things then.

You may think FC are trash but the FC houses are more beneficial than a private house. You can get your own room and the airship/submarines are gil makers. There are people with 'private FCs' because of this.
The only thing I find 'trash' about a FC is the people in it. I actually turned my FC into a private one cause I had a lot of toxic people cause drama all over jealousy and other childish things :/

I could just get a private house but then my bidding results will become worse. I legit seen HUNDREDS of bids on a small personal while a FC house with a medium(and even lost to) had only 14 bids.
