I'm cooking and I can look up all the botany ingredients and where to find but I have to use websites outside the game to figure out where I find certain skins, horns, milk etc from the monsters in the world.
Even if not to just suddenly add/unlock this feature I wouldn't overly mind if you created a new gathering job (and I'll give you my idea for a new crafter as well) Survivalist; you follow tracks of monsters and fight a buffed up/Alpha version of what you are hunting and in exchange, you get a small stack of one of their drops. ex: You kill a goat and it drops "10 Bottles of Goat Milk" and now when you kill a goat it has a 50% increased chance to drop an item and you have GP abilities to increase the number of items they will drop. In this, you also get a bestiary that allows you to search up where to get certain drops after you've completed that monster's "hunt".
Crafter Job Shipwright; if we're going to islands it's maybe time for our own boats ( I know there is airship crafting ) this would be a crafting job that the HUGE majority would want to pick up due to it giving you a "free" mount that you build up from a small raft to a ship. This would allow you to travel/fish/hunt and could allow you to have a small apartment-like section where you could have a new container (inventory) similar to a Chocobo-saddlebag or crafting stations installed into your ship.

You're free to use my ideas Square I'd love to see them implemented and maybe it would be time to give us new crafting/gathering jobs rather than battle jobs or maybe even my two & 1 battle job or something.
