We need a Greatsword Dps Class!!!

Which reminds me of something.... The " Kingsglaive " as a job xD ... then again the weapon choices of Nyx Ulric and the Kingsglaive would also not really be that new to what we already have in FFXIV

Well as explained in both FF15 and Dissidia Opera Omnia, the Kingsglaive and Noctis's buddies are actully using weapons that is stored in the Armiger that Noctis and his father has. This means all their combat style is still part of Noctis and his father's combat style since they can use their weapons as well and use their fighting style which adds more potential skill to the Weapon Master style Job that Noctis combat is based on.

In a more literal sense, the sword, staff, greatsword, dagger, gun, bow, and etc will not be the Main Weapon of a Noctis Job. It will literally be the Armiger itself being the Main Weapon since all these other weapons are just the stuff stored up in the Armiger. Thus the focus on a combat style where our character will constantly switch his/her weapons for each attack to perform different combos, cooldown skills, and off-cooldown skills by teleporting these weapons in and out of the Armiger.

Then in the Job mechanic mode when he/she use Armiger Unleashed, they go full power mode to unleash the full power of sending out all the weapons stored in the Armiger while still being able to perform normal abilites with a additional effect from unleashing the Armiger within the Armiger Unleashed duration.
