Nope, just have to grind out THM/CON to 48 each. Obviously not as powerful subbed... but not so sure I would spend all that time leveling them up just for that purpose, since they will be changing the armory/battle system very soon.

I was leveling other jobs just for their higher rank traits to use on GLA, but now that everything WILL be changing I'm just going to level up a job I actually want to.

as far as i know, no, there isn't, just it requires you to grind those classes to rank 48 (which I'm doing so i hope i can use them)

    Agreed.

I really don't recommend grinding out a class for specific high lvl traits/skills unless you actually want to play the class. Until I hear more about what they're going to do to the battle system, I'm satisfied I think with what I've leveled for Gladiator skills. They just did a players poll so hopefully we'll hear more on their plan soon.

Well, it helps out a lot. I can solo very effectively with Sacrifice III on my Marauder, and once I get Cure III, I'll be pretty much unkillable as long as I have MP.

And why would you wanna solo in a MMO? That word 'solo' should not be legally used in MMO's... I never understood that concept >.>

Nice overview but you can't equip all of those.

Warmonger, Deflection, Defender2, Aegis Boon2, Sentinel, Emulate.

Those are the strongest tanking skills currently, and should be any "end game" tanks priority.

Defender2 lowers Uraues' normal hits from ~600 to ~450, Defender1 lowers them from ~600 to ~520 so its a significant increase worth leveling MRD for not to mention you get Warmonger on the way. Warmonger is a small AE provoke that is stronger than Provoke II, gives you +Emnity buff, but has a long CD. Its great for pulling / Sonerous Blast.

After those you can fill your remaining AP with Voke/Taunt/Wardrum/Obsess and then some WS's and other support abilities (Sac2, Syphon TP).

Yes I'm aware that they can't all be equipped and that's why it says some of them are optional, I just haven't marked the ones optional yet. This is just my playstyle and I'm not suggesting this is the best build. I appreciate you sharing your skill suggestions with us.

Right now I'm working with a number of MRD skills, some of them I haven't listed in my build yet but I figured you all could share which skills you feel are effective in the builds you have.

How dare you call that a paladin ><. no self respecting paladin would use absorb skills, especially not drain, you heretic! lol. That is more of a Dark knight build. My build is similar, yet i use only Cure II in Conj Skills section.

Right now the only skills "really" needed for endgame tanking, or let's not say needed, but useful are...

Shield: Aegis Boon 2, Deflection, Wardrum, Outmaneuver
Sword: Provoke 2, Obsess 2, Rampart 2, Phalanx 2(IMPORTANT), Sentinel, and then Incap WSs.

    Other useful stuff...

Marauder: Warmonger, Defender 2, Intimidation Mark Trait
    Pugilist: Prime Conditioning Mark Trait
Conjurer: Cure 3, Profundity 2(its nice for hate with low stamina cost), Fast Cast Mark Trait
Thaumaturge: Emulate(my THM is only 32, since I want to get my CON to 50 first, but Emulate just rocks)
LNC/ARC: The Attack buff skills, cause any type of buff generates a lot of hate and Ferocity and Raging Strike dont take any Stamina.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you here. As many of us are from XI, not saying your not, many career RDM's took time out of their normal shell routine to "solo" things that other wise would require anywhere from 6-12 people, myself included. Part of this makes you better at your job in parties. If you can handle the stress of performing and maintaining timers and routines for a considerably longer time then normal, with normally 0 mistakes, it only makes things that much easier when you have help, it allows you to handle the what ifs and things that don't go as planned much better. More over, doing this providing means to gain gil/gear at a muster higher rate then by any other means for certain people. Could sale joytoy's , sky pops, sea torques, etc and make more money for less work then be other mediums. I'm not sure if you keep up with Kanican(Kaeko's) livejournal but hes sorta redefining how to solo as it relates to XIV. He recently pulled off a Dodore solo and believe got 2 wing drops and depending on your server that could ultimately be worth in excess of 20M+ for a simple 45 minute fight. Thing of how much time you would have to spend crafting to swing that. So imho there will always be a place for solo'n when it comes to MMO's, its an artform when performd at its best.

@ the OP , you arent by chance Dravin from Reflect are you ??

    @ the acutal Post

    LNC -

Invigorate - with all the stamina and other skills in your routine this is a nice way to boost your TP for those WS's. Also
Keen Flurry - dont know about you but I dont like missing in Battle Regimens, so more acc yes please. Could be the difference in a debuff landing.

CON - Roaming Soul - Good way to up your timer on Barbs, with affinity I believe you can stretch it out to 13 seconds. 19 If your on THM.

MRD - Maim, I believe if you can manage the TP gain this can be very useful in aiding in incaps as DD's are probably better off spamming their WS's when they can and stacking on your maim vs the other way around.
