FFxiv ingame character 3D printed statues

My suggestion is Square enix offer a prepaid ingame character 3D printed Statue of players characters
where players can choose an in game pose and outfit on the character of choice to be 3D printed by sqaure enix for a price
i think alot of people would love a 3d printed version of there ingame character
based on the millions of players ff14 has worldwide this would also seem a profitabale revenue for square enix as well

If any of u like this idea plz give this a like maybe whit enough likes sombody of ff14 or square enix will take notice of this and it could become a possibilty in the future

There are websites that you can get a custom model done. But I don't think SE would ever do their own 3d printings of characters. It would be nice though.

While I'm sure they could plug something into a 3D printer with your character model and their glams, that certainly wouldn't be the quality they'd likely want to produce.

Those have a set design and are not 3d printed.

What you are asking for would require a unique design every time, and then unique painting on top of that.

The amount of effort to go through to make miester quality level figures for one person (because who's going to be buying figures of someone elses character?) is just unrealistic.
You'd probably be spending thousands just due to the construct, molds, and entire fabrication method alone. This cost is usually offset by the fact that you can churn out multiple figures once you have the production going and are able to sell many. But in the case of a players avatar character you're very likely going to be selling one and only one. This would make the Y'shtola dollfie more affordable, and at that point you could just just construct a custom one to look like your character if you wanna go down that rabbit hole.

I'm not saying the idea is bad, I too would like my character standing proud. I'm just saying it's incredibly unrealistic and unaffordable to the average player.

true but they could ask higher price statues are usualy already high price items anyway so for customised statues people wouldnt mind a certain price range they would just have a to do a cost profit analyzition of it and then decide

They've probably already done a cost profit analyzation and determined it was not worth it. Hence the service not being available.

You would be talking 10x or more the cost of current statues. Its just not a feasible service due to complexity.

Honestly i've looked into such things more than a couple of times as it'd be cool to have a model of my character on my desk. but all i've found are basically npc models of the scions and stuff.

If you could convert the in game models to a cad file or something you could essentially just design your character in something like the games character creator. choose the gear you want to wear and export it and print it with a 3d printer. so you wouldnt really require any molds or heavy fabrication.

From there it'd just be a question of painting it I guess..
