Hear me out on hats and visors?

With the release of the Varsity Flatcap I have found myself needing an option to toggle the hat, but not the glasses.

Let me explain: The hide hat/show hat button, should hide and show the hat part of the outfit, while the glasses ('visor') part should remain, and be separately toggleable with the visor option. I kind of wished this was a thing before this too, for the far eastern schoolboy hat, some of the nier hats like the type 55 maiming and the orbonne casting hat. Loads of cool hats with cool facepieces tied to them, but sometimes it would be nice to have one or the other for the part of the outfit. I guess it would be added workload, but a man can dream.... I can't be the only one who wishes this exists.

I take your opinion and counter with my own, a glasses/sunglasses armor slot option so if I want a hat but glasses as well I don't need to choose.

I really wish any sort of face pieces are tied into another slot that does not affect or hides the head slots, appearance wise.

When I first saw we’re getting a glasses on Fashion Accessories, I was getting excited for a minute before I remember again: they’re basically functions like a mount. Guess I’ll have to take off my glasses again

In a perfect world with the current structure, glasses and sunglasses would all be moved to Fashion Accessories and you could use them freely (also while using OTHER accessories).

Instead of (or as well as) moving glasses to being fashion accessories, I really want glasses in the earrings slot.

It's not perfect as you still have to give up one thing for another, but between hat + glasses (in earring slot) and earrings + glasses (in hat slot) that's a good range of combinations that you can wear without any of the restrictions of accessories.

Tbh, these are all pretty great suggestions. My idea was just because I was trying to find the most possibly easiest to implement, closest thing we have to something already in game. it's just frustrating I guess that the perfect visor is tied to the wrong hat, and all you can do is get rid of the visors, or the headpiece entirely. I'd love the option to mix and match glasses and hats. My problem also is this game doesn't have enough nice visors that aren't tied to hats, which is why I wasn't originally on board with some of these ideas in the first place.

They could have made glasses use the necklace slot as certain *redacted* has shown is possible. Its just annoying when a headgear has unique glasses that arn't its own item.

I agree. I love the glasses but I hate the potato cap ^^" thats why i'm not using it
