I wish there was a place outside the game where I could talk to other people who also, by in large, love the game.

If you want upvotes for telling others how much you love the game and having them do the same, the Reddit is the place for you.

If you want people who (presumably) love the game and want to talk about the problems more than the good parts to try and make it better, that is the forums.
