My favorite part of the forums are the group of people insisting that you aren't allowed to complain about the game and saying the forum is an echochamber of FFXIV zealots.... in the midst of complaint thread after complaint thread.

Yeah, there's a lot of people who troll or are overly negative but you'll find them literally on any public forum or social media site.

The forum is a place to raise issues with the game. You'll see fluff posts for dev headpats on occasion but most of the time, it's a place to debate or argue with others about stuff relating to the game....which I don't necessarily see an issue with. Things can't be good 100% of the time...there's enough of forcing people to be happy in game when you even breathe that you don't like a certain piece of content and get reported over it. Here, it's more tolerated to speak your mind but prepare to back up your opinions.

If you don't want to see post after post of people raising criticism towards the game, the forum won't be the place for you. You can try Amino....or I'm sure there's some discord server for just happy posts.
