A vast oversimplification of a much more complex storyline.I may not have put much thought into the story at the time I made that post, but even then I thought it was kinda goofy that the main cause of virtually everything wrong with Eitherys was a depressed guy and his army of bird daughterus sending negative vibes toward the rest of the universe.
No hero is perfect, no legend is 100% true, what we did not know of those times, we later learn, that what we believe to be true is only part of the story. Venat was not without fault..none of us are. Venat made the only decison she felt would work..and the depiction of the Sundering painting Venat/Hydaelyn in a far more negative light than I thought possible.both to weaken Zodiark, and to prepare Man to better deal with dynamis
"To find joy even as darkness descends"..Meteion and what she creates, a universe of misery and death
"And amidst deepest despair..light everlasting". The journey at Ultima Thule, all we had suffered before, had prepared us for what we were to face..
She did what she thought she had to...at that time she had very few choices. None of them very palateable..but this path, she hoped, she prayed,Even when she acknowledges that what she did was heinous and a gross violation of all her people's rights, the story bends over backwards to have the Scions reassure her that her cause was just and she did no wrong, with no dialogue option to rebuke her in sight.would bring Man to the point where they could fight Meteion on her own ground..but on THEIR terms.
For her children to grow, they had to pay that price.

We asked...She answered....
Thy Life is a riddle, to bear rapture and sorrow
To listen, to suffer, to entrust unto tomorrow
In one fleeting moment, from the Land doth life flow
Yet in one fleeting moment, for anew it doth grow
In the same fleeting moment
Thou must live
Die
And know
