Is no one happy?

So we started an FC, and we are genuinly happy and excited to play the game.

On forums it's all doom and gloom. We are having fun. Why doesn't the ffxiv forum community reflect that.

Overall, this is a great expansion. Came back did ARR, so much better, do the rest.

Forums people mostly like to complain, and give feedback. People usually don't think about positive feedback, but when something negative happens...well.

That, and trolls exist.

But overall, I'd say a lot of people enjoy the game.

People have always been extremely mad on the forums. This is nothing new. Nobody hates the game more than the OF does.

Not saying they're wrong all the time, or even that frequently, just that it's always been this way here.

Reddit is where you go if you want the positivity. Forums are for providing feedback to the game so it will appear a lot more negative in comparison.

Are you new?
I mean if the game is new to you then it will still have that new car smell and be fun and exciting to play.

But I think once that wears off the game becomes much more stale and repetitive. Many new players end up dropping the game very quickly as a result.

People talk about a massive population influx recently but in reality it came, it stayed a few weeks, and it got bored and vanished.

I've been playing XIV since 1.0 and while the game is still enjoyable. The majority of the time that enjoyment comes from the friends I play with more than from the game itself. The game itself is pretty mediocre.

It's like a cheap restaurant. Foods crap, service is lousy, the place is a dive. But, if your in there with good friends you can still have a good evening.
