You're not taking into account set bonuses. This could lead to a serious unbalance however. For example:
Ul'Dahn Officer's Cap : Magic Oriented
Ul'Dahn Officer's Overcoat: Magic Oriented
Ul'Dahn Officer's Gloves: NOT Magic Oriented, however Gridanian Officer's Gloves: Magic Oriented
Ul'Dahn Officer's Boots: Tiny Magic, however: Lominsan Officer's Boots: Magic Oriented
Therefore, by picking: Ul'Dahn Officer's Cap & Overcoat, and Gridanian Officer's Gloves with Lominsan Officer's Boots you would have a very powerful Magic Oriented outfit, more so than sticking with your own grand company.
Combinging form 3 GC will yield an outfit that is more powerful than from 1 GC, and this may not have been taken into consideration while creating these items. Which would mean it would lead to an unbalanced state.
Which is a shame, as some of those Lominsan outfits are very attractive (beauty wise, not stat wise), but i'm in Immortal Flames.
