Square keeps selling the game to mac users knowing they can't play with updated OS

Any other mac users really ticked off with SE? I have a macbook air m1 and a few months ago I updated my OS to Monterey. Since then I can no longer play the game. I know there are third party programs that allow us too, but I find it ridiculous that they have been aware of this issue for over a year and have no ETA to address it yet they keep selling the game on their website and other sites for mac users. I really am amazed they have not been sued or it has not been all over the media on how they are basically ripping people off.

That was SIX months ago Darneltia. I mean, we are paying customers, and we can't actually run the game without resorting to third party programs to get it working. (Not that I do, of course, I've just stopped playing it on the Mac - despite paying you to play the game on that platform)

Do you think it's please possible to shoot an email to Yoshida-san and say "hey dood, we are asking our Mac users, those who paid for the game, to play on an outdated (effectively) Windows95 like operating system"?

Add... "Maybe we should support our customers and let them play on the platform they paid for, or at least update that last advice from 2021?"

Bad advice Datneltia.. "If you plan to continue playing FINAL FANTASY XIV in either of these older OSs, please consider updating to their latest versions before the release of Patch 6.15." do that, and you won't be able to play, because the latest version isn't supported. (See above)

Maybe also, when you email Yoshida-san, say "Umm. you know how we tell OS X users to upgrade to the latest, maybe we shouldn't do that until we can get the game working on it! Maybe we should tell them to not to upgrade to Monteray but the previous older now-obsolete and quite insecure version Big Sur?"
