    ② Job Usage Rates
Another factor we keep in mind when evaluating balance is the rate at which players choose certain jobs over others. Like win rates, we separate these statistics by category and only consider data for matches where players of differing jobs compete against each other. However, unlike our stance on win rates, our goal is not to equalize the rate of job usage─we believe players should choose their jobs based on personal preference, which naturally fluctuates. Instead, what we look for in job usage rates are instances of extreme bias that may indicate a particular job is "easier" or "harder" to use, which in turn may implicate a greater underlying issue.

This tells me that by not using flavor of the month, by sticking with the class you enjoy, you are hurting the chances of it being fixed.

So take note everyone. Want your broken class fixed? Stop using it.

I mean... usage stats is a normal thing to consider in any PvP game.

"However, unlike our stance on win rates, our goal is not to equalize the rate of job usage─we believe players should choose their jobs based on personal preference, which naturally fluctuates."

He literally says they're taking player preference into consideration.

The way they tackle balancing also means that they cannot see how toxic polymorphing someone is with no way to cleanse. It will always make sure that WHM are picked just for that sole reason and if they ever do open this game up to competitive 5vs5 as it is right now WHM would just simply be mandatory. They are balancing macro interactions but not micro.

You shouldn't skip the "Win Rates" part...... thats the main reason as BLM has the lowest win rate (14% less than the highest) and they tried to make that gap a lot more closer and around ~50%.

Nah. Pick it and loose on purpose.

I hope they look at matches from top players and somewhat more into ability usages.
