Is it even worth posting PvP Balance Issues?

Hello Square Enix staff.

So, honest question.

Is it even worth posting PvP balance issues & takes if you're going to do whatever you want and dish out tone deaf patches?

You've demonstrated 0 communication between the PvP team and the wider community.

I keep hearing people harping on about 'Yoshi P loves PvP and wants to make this work' but I am not seeing it.

The ranking system update is just not good enough. Crystal is a seperate ranking system and should be its own beast.

I think it is fair to have given you over a month or so for the benefit of the doubt and I suppose this latest patch is a response.

Some clarification would be nice.

It's not for one because they don't give a fuck about the english forum and secondly what most people post is just trash about boosting their job or defending their overpowered job on like delusional levels.
Ultimately, 6.11a has shown that they just have no experience in what to balance and how to balance their changes are monday morning arbitrary values. These are not changes made by
a pvp team, hell even a person who played more than 5 pvp games but aside from all that, 6.11a was just a mini patch and some of the design has deeper issues, like it must be remade again issues,
which wouldn't have fit into it anyway. The design of ranked alone and the fact that the ladder is so easy to climb dampened the player amount big time, this patch is just the coffin. Pvp in FFXIV is just
not WoW or League ranked it's a mini game like POTD you enjoy it a little and then you move on.

You don’t actually want them listening to every balance suggestion on this forum or even most of them, because some of the ones posted here are TERRIBLE. Skill level in the forums ranges from hardstuck bronze to players seriously aiming for top 100 crystal, with more skew towards the lower end than the higher end, and all of them are posting their own opinion on balance.

When posting about balance, everyone has to do it knowing that there is a real and significant possibility some your strong opinions are dead wrong and that they won’t/shouldn’t necessarily all be listened to.

As someone who works in translation, if you really want to do this, I implore you all to use DeepL instead of Google Translate, especially for Japanese. It's not perfect but it's better than the unintelligible garbage that Google spits out.
