...so going to turn this right back around on you, because the amount of entitlement in YOUR post(s) is, infact, off the chart.Wow, the level of entitlement in your post, is off the charts. The Lottery IS objectively fair with regards to personal housing because it gives the SAME ACCESS to all who enter it. It does not discriminate based on people's schedules, speed of Internet access, third party addons, time spent playing the game or the amount of Gil players have (as long as the players have the basic plot fee). Everyone who wishes to apply is given the same access. That is objectively fair.
The "RAFFLE" is indeed, not 'objectively' fair. because it does, actually, gate people.
It DOES discriminate based off peoples schedules, (you log in an bid during entry period, but can't during the results week)
It DOES discriminate based off the time spent playing the game, (to be able to bid, you need gil. the way you make gil?, playing the damn game)
and it DOES discriminate based of the amount of gil people have. (i.e. smalls, mediums, larges - 3m, 20m, 50m)
Casper stating the possible arguments people can make isn't entitlement. it's factual. FOR THE PRECISE INSTANCE THAT PEOPLE ARE MAKING THOSE ARGUMENTS CURRENTLY.
Casper is entirely correct. Stop using "fair" to defend any one system over another.

Good God, the person above is probably terrified of going out in the real world. Can't go anywhere or do anything without being discriminated against.

My god, you are really trying hard to reach, aren't you? A NINE DAY period for bids and results is easily more than enough time for the vast majority of players. As for the Gil required to place a bid, first, that sort of money is fairly easily come by if you play the game (if you need help with that, check the thread posted in the General forum about this topic) and second, those prices are the same for EVERYONE. I think you are being very disingenuous and possibly even conflating equity with equality. You have to play the game in order to qualify for housing. In fact, you have to play the game to be able to access content, PERIOD. Remember, you also need standing within your GC in order to be able to purchase apartments and houses. The system as it stands right now, has eliminated most non-game advantages and impediments to accessing housing. All that is left is to actually do the content in order to be able to access the ability to participate in the Lottery. Once you have done that content and amassed a sufficient enough amount of Gil, you can enter the Lottery....so going to turn this right back around on you, because the amount of entitlement in YOUR post(s) is, infact, off the chart.

I'm thinking that person might have some issues trying to differentiate between equity and equality of opportunity. The whole idea that playing a game in order to access content, is discriminatory, is quite frankly, bizarre. That content is equally available to ALL players, should they decide to play the game and access it.
