What's wrong with the inventory exactly? It's fine. You can change a lot of the display and sort settings for it as well.

The inventory system as a whole is clunky and obnoxious to use

There's a limit on how many inventory windows you can have open at once, which makes any significant sorting both irritating (because it auto closes windows when you open too many...) And inefficient, you can only view one retainer inventory at a time, and just the fact that we have so many different inventories and storage systems with different rules is enough to be irritating in itself

Like when I go through and purge/reorganize my glamour, I'm dealing with my armory chest, my chocobo saddle, two different retainers, and the glam dresser + armoire which also interact with each other in ways that imo are not always immediately obvious

I'd like more and better ways to sort and filter, and better ways to view and organize multiple inventories at once
