Cannot Enter Lottery for Relocation

Is this the error?

"Lottery entry and plot purchase unavailable. No more land may be purchased on this world by characters attached to this service account."

Because i'm having the same issue, all i want to do is relocate, it's only one of my characters though, i logged onto an alt on the same world that owns an FC, works perfect, but just this one character i have that can't bid on a relocation, not even a property purchase, i feel like there is bugged flagging of sorts but not many have come out and asked "why am i getting this error"

It's not an error. If you have any other alt on the same home world as your FC character, you *cannot* bid in the lottery on any character *but* the alt you own a personal house on.

And that character must be in the FC your other character owns. And they have to have been in the FC for 30 days.

If you have an FC plot on 1 character and a personal plot on another, I don't know if you can bid at all :/

Yet i did... lol i bid on a personal for relo, bid on an 2 alts that have own an FC for relo, but can't bid with the 3rd character for relo, bare in mind that i tried the 3rd character first, unless i'm totally missunderstanding what you're saying, but it seems like it's just not liking this character bidding, it even states that "* If the character in question purchased the plot, they may still submit a lottery entry for the purposes of relocation." on the SE land purchase post, so i dunno

You can only have a maximum of 2 plots. 1 FC and 1 personal as well as an apartment in any ward. If you are in an FC that has land and have an alt who is not in said FC who owns a home, *you* cannot bid for an FC plot or personal house unless the character you're trying to bid with is both A) in the FC and B) owns the personal house.

This makes literally zero sense, because like i said, i have 3 FC plots and 1 personal plot, i've relocated 2 FC plots and 1 personal plot, the 3rd FC plot i cannot relocate, none of what you said relates to my situation so i assume there is something else outside of the scope of the rules that won't allow for relocation

There's nothing outside the scope. You probably had grandfathered plots if you had more than 1 FC plot location. New rules were implemented to make it so that you can only have 1 FC plot and 1 personal house for your entire (account) on any world server. Now if the FCs are owned by others, they can likely bid to move the plot. But you personally are limited to 1 FC and one personal plot owned.

There's nothing outside the scope. You probably had grandfathered plots if you had more than 1 FC plot location. New rules were implemented to make it so that you can only have 1 FC plot and 1 personal house for your entire (account) on any world server. Now if the FCs are owned by others, they can likely bid to move the plot. But you personally are limited to 1 FC and one personal plot owned.

Strange then, since multiple other friends of mine have bid for relocation on 5+ of their characters FC's, but again, it's only the one character of mine, the rest are fine, that's what doesn't make sense, if that was the case then i'd have that error across all, even demoted the character and still can't bid, doesn't matter i guess, have bids in, i'm just not the only one with the issue currently

Well if thats the case, I would like to hope its a bug. If it isnt, I would appreciate they would fix the description a bit.

The lotto system acts as a great equalizer for between the grandfathered-long-game home owners and newer buyers. It acts as a double check for "2 houses per world, per account." The first is the lotto entry and the second is the purchase phase. Both will block a character with too many houses. This ensures that anyone who was "grandfathered in" (owns more than two plots on one world) can no longer relocate one of their "extra" plots to upgrade them or buy a new one without getting in line with everyone else. This levels the playing field and makes the system work as the developers intended post 3.0.

It makes perfect sense.

I'm having the same issue. I could only place one bid on one character to relocate my FC's plot from a small to a medium, but one of my other members (who has a personal on their main) could bid on two characters. At least I'm lucky enough to have two other friends playing the game I could trust to bid in my place.
