Cannot Enter Lottery for Relocation

After months of preparation, weeks waiting for the lottery system to be fixed, and then another set of weeks for the new lottery to be implemented, I finally went to try and get our FC plot relocated to Shirogane.

Only to find out.

I CAN'T enter the lottery to relocate our plot because my character on the Aether Data center owns a personal home AND the FC Plot location.

This entire system has not made it fair for people to get housing, it's blocked people from trying to move locations and there are more FC plots than personal plots. My personal plot is in an FC ward and if I have to give it up to get the FC house I'm pretty PO'd.

I spent the time grinding out the gil for the transfer, with friends and fc members helping and we can't even relocate?

Do I have to give the gil to another member of the FC to do so??

This is kind of a crock.

[Edit] Thanks to the helpful words from Solarra the issue and crisis was averted, but I was unaware I had to flip to my alt that owned a personal house in order to bid for the FC plot relocation. I did not participate in the first lottery, at all, because I specifically wanted to try and move into Shirogane wards.

I have the same issue. I thought this was supposed to be fixed.
I am within the rules, I have one personal and one FC house on my account (we are trying to relocate the FC house). The owner of the personal house can place a bid for the new FC plot but my alts are all locked out from the bidding.

I don't know what to do. I would be prepared to drop the personal house if necessary, but I'd be scared to do so without confirmation that it would actually solve the issue.

So the owner of the personal house can purchase or enter the lottery but alts can't? Thank you for your input Solarra, Maybe that will work for me to try and bid in the lottery. I didn't participate in the first one so I had no idea how that was set up.

Yeah I didnt participate on the first round either. But this time around I did. I just thought that because I am not a master on my main account, I could help my main account's FC. But... I cant. Because my alt has an FC.

Yeah this was not at all dictated when they mentioned the removal of immediate relocation. They said they were still going to have relocation but they didn't explain how the hell it works on the lottery system especially for people that have personal and FC houses. I'm glad Solarra mentioned that the plot owner is able to get the house/fc bid. I was having a small heart attack thinking all that work went to waste.

This is not new news and has been known since they put information out on the lottery bids. You can only enter one lottery bid. So if you put a bid on a personal house, that's it. You cannot bid on another, including one for an FC house, until the next cycle. So, we are forced to pick one or the other.

I'm not saying I agree with it, just saying that's been the implementation of the system since it began and nothing there was to be "fixed".

You didn't pay attention at all to what was being said.
I was trying to bid on an FC plot to transfer/relocate our FC. It wouldn't allow me to do so on the character I was on, Solarra pointed out the only ones that can do the bids for relocation are the characters that have the personal housing. Said character is an alt in the FC I own, so I was able to flip to her and bid on the location we are trying to re-locate into.

What was said is that all alts on the account that are on the same world-server are not permitted to bid on anything if you have a personal house on any other character on that same world. I am not bidding for a personal house and FC, I was trying to *relocate* our FC plot.

I think you misunderstood. I am not trying to bid on two properties.

One of my characters has had a personal house on Cerberus for a couple of years. My Main is FC leader and the FC would like to relocate. The issue is that only the owner of the personal house can put in a bid. I have enough gil to put in more bids on my alts but the game will not let me place them.

That was why I said i would be prepared to relinquish the personal if I was sure that would enable my alts to place bids (although I'd probably be very lucky to get another personal, so I don't really want to go to that extreme as I'd have a good chance of ending up with nothing).

Edit: And just to clarify, I do have friends in the FC, it's not just a 'shell' FC for my alts. Trouble is, not all my friends are active right now.

I think Solarra if you have people in your FC that you trust with the gil you can have them bid on the plot for the FC for you? Since we're limited to only being able to do the bid on one character.
