Let's face it. Flans are in Final Fantasy since 1987. It's game staple. You cannot ignore their existence. This is why it's time finnaly include them in game as playable race.

I know somebody ask "But Gaido, how they would look?". So I made this full effort, professional conceptarts for some jobs, so you know:



Most important. They are gender fluid so you have obligatory tokenization for western audience done. Isn't life beautifull?

I know that some developer will say "Gaido. It's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my entire life (and I'm 49 years old). What do you want for it?"

And I say. Nothing. Final Fantasy is love. Final Fantasy is life.

I can easily see a short comic describing the tough adjustment to adventurer life as a Flan.

I have some ideas, and it sound like cool experience so I started working on it. I wrote the script and started drawing. It's nothing big, and I'm just amateur. It will be only one chapter of story about how flans became a Warriors of Light. But with my schedule (work + school) most likely I finish this at the end of June/ beginning of July.

99.9% of people would read them as male, which yep.
Would make them '' gender fluid/ neutral '' according to Western devs and Redditors lol.
