    Stat point questions

    Hello everyone, I have a few questions about stat points.

    1. Are they separate for each class? ex. the points you can allocate for lnc are different from the points you allocate for gla. In other words, 45 for each class instead of points all of your classes share.

    2. For LNC, should I focus on 23STR/22PIE?

    Yes each class has their own stat points to put in.

    Many focus on STR and PIE since those are the auto-attack bonus stats. PIE also may factor into some weaponskills' damage and will help to land additional effects from combos and whatnot. I would have been an advocate for STR and DEX though, but with the patch today (1.22a) there are no more accuracy penalties... so PIE should be fine and may boost damage ouput.     Thanks for your reply . Yeah, I put 2 points into dex a few days ago because all of the stat information I found easily was before PIE was factored in to LNC auto attack. So, I'll have to be 22STR/21PIE, I should still be okay.

    That's a relief about each class having it's own, now I can level each to my liking!

    You might be interested in knowing that the first job quests for all the jobs give you an item that lets you reset your allocated points, so you can reclaim that 2 DEX eventually if it really bothers you =P

    ^ This. I really wouldn't worry about though. The half point of accuracy may actually put you at cap on a mob at some point and the PIE won't be terribly necessary. I'd definitely save the point reset item for after 2.0, who knows if they'll suddenly be all, "Hmm, let's make DRG use INT instead of PIE for their breath attacks!" or something haha.

    Yep, yep. Without those penalties LNC can get away with less accuracy stats and more crit stats. Accuracy is never a bad thing of course, especially with multi-hit skills, just less needed now.
