Materia: Pyros bot army has increased upto 40+ now.. will the devs ever actually care

This is just becoming a running joke.

How many reports do you need to have this botfarm shut down?

We had our entire CWLS report every single character that is botting months ago and nothing has been done.

Each day these botfarms bring in 350-700m in RMT Gil.

Mass reporting does not work, reporting to the 4man 'bot' team does not work.

What else can we do? spam the forums every single day until a developer wakes the F up and puts a stop to this?

JUST REMOVE THE BUNNY FATES AND THE RMT WILL GO AWAY


My motivation to play this game is at an all time low due to how pathetic the development team are in dealing with the REAL problems the game has.

Oh look pagos has its own bunny bot farm now LOL This just gets worse and worse by the day, devs wake up.


Imagine if the anti-bot team consisted of more than 4 people, its a shame square enix is an indie company that cant afford employees right?

Id rather they didnt remove the bunny fate as its my lazy income. I have also been spamming on and off reports for the past few months, and i wouldn't be surprised if i get in trouble for doing so before any action is taken on the bots. i feel like all it would take is 1 gm or even hire 1 person for the soul purpose to go into pyros and take 2 seconds to look at the bunny fate and be like "oh yeah ok 600 bots" its not like the bots hide it and they don't really need to because nothing will happen to them. or better yet, remove the bottom bunny fate and leave the top one. they will have a hard time weaving in out and of the mobs that are the same level as them

There was one time I saw one of bots malfunctioning possibly thanks to script breaking from getting their bunny killed while they were trying to get to their chest.

Maybe just remove the gils from pagos and pyros south bunny FATEs, since those chests are very accessible past certain level (no mobs will aggro you).

Legit players can still opt for pagos, pyros north bunny & hydatos bunnies should they want to keep the braindead gil farming.

The easiest option i recon would be to remove the south fate in pyros, very easy to die up north and same with Hydatos, never done the one in pagos. I say its the easiest option going on the assumption they cant make the bots weave through the lvl 50 mobs up north, im sure they could code something for it but i don't have knowledge of coding so it might be an easy fix for them. ive tried killing them by rounding up mobs and dragging them over when they sync down, it worked a little bit but recently they started moving out of aoe and focusing the mobs then going back to the fate, before they just sat there and took a beating.

But i dont know how SE work or if they even read the forums so i dont have high hopes it gets fixed any time soon, unless someone has connections lol.

Sadly removing bunny fate from Eureka Pyros won't stop RMT bots, when they just start grind gil from other sources and as long players keep buying gil and other services from RMTs, the RMT bot problem will never disappear.

This actually. RMT are here because ppl are buying things from them with real money. Maybe instead of going after just the RMT they should also go after and ban the ppl buying from them like they did when I played FFXI...

They actually did both. During the time I played FFXI their RMT investigations team after confirming characters or accounts were doing RMT would actually investigate all the characters/accounts it interacted with which resulted in chucks of the RMT supply chain being removed along with a number of the buyers. Though I suspect they probably only banned repeat buyers.

I said it before and i'll say it again. We need a "Great Salvage Purge™" from XI in XIV. I know the odds of it happening are right next to the story writers fixing EW but it's nice to dream~!

IMO its more so the reporting of these bots does seemly absolutely nothing i have been reporting on and off few a few months, and im not the only one but never ever happens, the report feature seems almost pointless or only good for people being turds in chat, ive even had responses saying i need to go report it to some separate team via their website and even doing it multiple times still nothing, i see the same a month down the track with new addition to the pack, like OP said they getting into the 40s, by 10am today there was 27 when i was in there. and they do it everyday seemingly all day and all night.

I understand botting/rmt is inevitable in any game that has a currency and market and probably impossible to fully stop but the lack of response to reports of it sucks
