Uriange and Alisaie?

Remember that exchange Alisaie and Uriange had during the Warriors of Darkness arc, where it was hinted at by Alisaie that she was aware of Uriange's hidden agenda? Remember how at one point later on I think he was speaking about the female twin, it sounded like he had romantic feelings for her, not to mention he crafted her then rapier. Did anyone else think he was smitten by her or was it just me?

Just you. Alisaie saw Urianger dealing with the ascians (Elidibus) and the warriors of darkness, which she refers to as the "Hidden agenda" as you say. Later on, when after his true motivations in that regard came to light, he (probably as I don't remember the details) crafted the rapier as a way to apologize.
There is nothing romantic between the two nor they're hiding some dark secrets.

The core of Urianger's relationship to Alisaie is his loyalty to Louisoix. This loyalty compels him to protect Alisaie, and the rapier was not an indication of romantic interest but of that desire to protect his teacher's grand-daughter from endangering herself by continuing to spend aether on a conjured weapon.

It's stated that Urianger is a family friend of the Leveilleur family through being Louisoix's pupil, so they have known each other a long time. They can have that closeness of relationship without it being romantic.
