Hopefully, SAM gets reverted to 1.0 patch, good times.

Anyone who has bothered to take a proper look at the DPS subforum since 6.1's launch will actually know what the general posting environment has been like, so it really requires no explanation from either of us. Showing up 10 hours later and saying 'Oh, well only half of the threads are about Kaiten at this current instant' doesn't change or excuse anything. It is what it is.
I'm sure that you're no doubt referring to that SAM thread where someone invited all jobs to comment about broader problems in job design direction, but then SAM players teamed up to hurl abuse at healers because they apparently 'ought to stay in the healer subforum'. As far as I can tell, your group just wants people to upvote your demand threads, but has no genuine interest in actually supporting anyone else's needs.
I think that most people have made an effort to be sympathetic and supportive initially, but when you've collectively made an nuisance of yourselves for so long, everyone is just tired of the constant brigading. You're just damaging your own reputation with the broader community at this point, and it hurts your case rather than helps it. You'd make so much more headway by simply having a civil discussion and making structured feedback to the dev team in a single megathread. It's been done many times before.
I do want to see the ToS enforced, though, because it's next to impossible to have a discussion on a forum when people simply resort to hurling abusive language when they run out of arguments. I don't care what the end result is, and it doesn't matter if you're friendly or not, but there are some basic standards of courtesy if you're to have a conversation with another human being.
Clearly you didn't even read that thread or what started that whole debacle with healer mains. They're the ones who came in the thread with their doomposting and telling the rest of us not to even bother since SE didn't listen to them for X amount of years. And to your point of all those new threads being made: many of them were from first time forum posters who did not want their silence to be taken as acceptance. You're assuming that they should all have automatically known to post in a singular megathread which is asinine. If you're going slander the SAM playerbase at least know what you're talking about.
The thing is, it’s only all gaining traction now because it’s dps jobs being affected. No one cared when it was just healers and constantly criticized healer mains for complaining. Now that it’s affecting dps jobs everyone is up in arms. I’m sure the samurai change will get fixed, and then everyone will keep silent on healer problems yet again.Context since you seem to have missed what that thread was about.
I'll tell you what I've said to several other sanctimonious forum goers; Samurai players are not obligated to know about or support other classes (especially when many of them were again, first time posters). If they do, good for them. Get off your high horse and ditch that self-righteous attitude.

You're not obligated to. But the poster who I was responding to was pretending that their reason for spamming the DPS subforum with duplicate threads was because they were campaigning on behalf of the greater good of all players, which is blatantly false. It would have helped if you had read the context of our earlier discussion.

Bring back kaiten, plz. I need my animation back.
You've said nothing to address my points; and even accused me of what you failed to do yourself. I can see why many are hesitant to post or have just posted here for the first time; with many such as yourself outright dismissing them or just being purely disingenuous. You've mentioned everyone should have a chance at discussion, but immediately argue in bad faith with many of us who present points that are opposed to yours. You're not obligated to. It's very obvious they don't make changes based on actual player feedback and has been the case for a very long time. Nobody asked for Kaiten's removal, quite literally nobody. This was not at all done because they thought the community wanted it, it was done for an entirely different reason, with the most obvious answer being to dumb the game down to make it more accessible to a nonexistence audience whom they think will start playing if the game becomes less skill and thought-intensive. They need to learn one the oldest and most simplest of truths: don't fix what isn't broken.

that Wolverine meme with him caressing the portrait, only it's me caressing Kaiten.

It's a noble goal you have Shana, to try to reason with the unreasonable, but I would advise you to not waste your time or energy. Willful ignorance of such strength can never be swayed. You've said nothing to address my points; and even accused me of what you failed to do yourself. At this point, that Wolverine meme can be used for nearly anything in this game.
Cue Wolverine caressing Warrior's cone of pain, Samurai's compatability with jobs that influence Crit rates, Scholar and Astro's everything, healer aoe dots, Stormblood Bard, and any other job I'm missing.
Also.
