Thread: Please SE put kaiten back.

Its actualy upsetting to me how SE has not done or said anyting yet with so many people unhappy with the change. yet they are so fast to respond to feedback on BLM in the lastest pvp patch.

makes me think they will not do anything and just keep kaiten in the bin. very sad times. please se i just want kaiten back.

Their reasoning for taking it out didn't make any sense, there are other ways to address APM count (make Shinten cost more), button bloat (merge less important abilities) or the dreaded accessibility issues. For the latter simply adding some tutorial windows in game to explain to people what a new skill does (like when you get your gauge bar) would make it so people understand the slight complexities of some jobs so they can play it efficiently overall, instead of hammering all jobs with nonsensical changes making them more "accessible". No job ever introduced in this game was unaccessible for anyone who would bother reading tooltips or a guide.

At this rate in one or two expansions everything but blm is gonna play like SMN. They aren't making any efforts to make the game easier to learn, instead they're trying to make it so there's nothing to learn, taking away all the uniqueness and soul of different jobs in the process.

Makes me recall quite a lot of thread posts defending Square's inability to make changes per patch on the fly. Yet for their lovechild BLM there's an exception, unchanged compared to the other jobs and of course with the overwhelming PvP buffs addressed instantaneously to the surprise of " nobody ".

Not to crack on any BLM-players fun, although they are probably not on the forums to read any of this... is that the norm? Every messed up change is just to be expected and pending, but for BLM it sits on a untouchable pedestal? Then again I haven't been around for years long enough if that's the case, just making an observation...

Square: In our metric's we detected " Fun " with " Kaiten ". How dare they, how dare you!! the gul, the nerf and the audacity! (tableflips their yacht). Thou-shalleth-not-haveth-thine-Fun!! Only balanced bland numbers in our heavenly paradise made game. Sit your googlie-mooglie buns down, here! have some messed up Hrothgar haircut's and a teacup emote. Go buy that form the mog-station. We're off to address the real issues... unlike your Fun, such as -> " Mogstation Adventure Plate purchasable "

That last bit idk if that's a thing, I am just going to assume it's in the works over something like... idk... Job-feedback

I wonder if #BringBackKaiten Spam in the Live Letter Stream would do the trick to get attention.. it was kinda entertaining to see with Male Viera though ^^

I wouldn't expect any potential changes till 6.2.
