I brought this up in another post and I would like to delve a little deeper into it.

SE as of now has given us a series of redundant and horribly boring spammable raids with super low drop rates to compensate for the sheer lack of content. But instead of keeping up this horrible track why not give things a twist and make them more enjoyable.

AF Weapons
The quests we had for AF gear, while people burned through them, were fun enough for as long as they lasted and there were quite a few that were not soloable and some that were. So why not expand these quests for the af weapons. Instead of making us spam silly dungeons for company seals and do hamlet defense for drops (that have another low drop rate and vary in quantity needed depending on who you talk to) give us a series of quests to earn the weapon. There could be 50 of them per weapon if you wanna make it a time sync. Some of the quests tough that require groups, some not so much that you could solo/duo/trio. You could take the quests on the route that you need to purge a taint from the weapon, purifying it so it could help you be the hero the world needs or something like that. Along side of a multitude of quests you could add in alot of lore and tell a really good story in the process. Drag it out over a few updates to make it last longer. Regardless it would be better than doing toto-rak 20 times.

Gear
I like the thought of doing things like darklight gear in the same manner as the mini add-ons in xi. That was good gear for the short time it lasted and aby came out. So go that route. Quests, NM kills, story-line, lore. Then at the end you could only choose 1 piece of gear. Whether you want to let us customize it like the mini add-ons of xi or just take it as is, it would make the game better. Yes you may have people complain about only being able to have 1 piece but look how many people you already have complaining about the current process of obtaining darklight gear. Cant make everyone happy all the time. But you could also make it like the xi mini were if you drop that piece of gear you can get another one by completing the last boss again. Plus you have the ability to add it for body, head, hand, leg, feet, waist, neck, fingers, wrists, ears, etc. Thats alot of content and a good time for us. Along with that it make catch more ppls attn who dont like ff cause of it being a slow grindfest.

I like games that incorporate this sort of gameplay over making the players repeat the same content over and over and over again for 1 piece then over and over and over again for a second...oh wait we got the same piece twice in a row. I know its alot of work but it could be released in sections when its comes to af weapons and 1 at a time when it comes to gear. Frankly I liked the fact in the minis that we only had 3 pieces we could choose from but then have the ability to customize it to our liking, alot with the ability to drop and redo it if we so choose.
