Frontline needs adjustment for late night queues

Can't get 72 players after midnight, queue times basically die so if you didn't get your roulette done in time you're sol.

Maybe make an AI team so its 48 players instead, after 20mins of que time has passed?

Then make a 2nd AI team for 24 players after 40mins has passed?

or how about just go to bed and try again the next day during regular hours when other people are playing? the game is not going anywhere.

not everyone gets to play during the day/evening, some of us only have night owl playtimes.

Frontlines is pretty active on Crystal until the early AM hours, then it'll start popping around noonish again. Probably just a data center thing. FL already has some degree of flexibility, it can start with fewer than 72 players.

if you have nightowl playtimes where you are you might want to consider moving data centers so that you can be matched up during another time zone's prime time.

OMG! I can't even begin to imagine how PvP bots would be in FF14... Where would I even find an example of tab-targeting PvP bots? Would they be programmed like NPCs? Will they have the same skills? Will they coordinate their LBs like players? Will it feel like cheats when a MCH bot ults you exactly when you're on enough health to get killed? Will they choose objectives over kills? Do they hold BHs? Can I hold emnity on them? How about farming them like trash mobs from dungeons? Not even trust knows when to use AoE skills, so will the PvP guys know to aim their AoEs? So many questions...

On another note, Primal gets a queue pretty much 24/7, the problem is just that they're filled with braindead people but you definitely can get a game. So what DC are you from that you can't get it?

Is primal 24/7 though? I know a few days ago I tried queueing around 2AM PST for 20-30 mins and got nothing so I quit out.

Honestly I don't think AI games would be the answer. Maybe doing 8v8v8 like they used too when queues take over 30mins would be a good solution.

The best solution would be when they add cross datacenter transfers, to allow NAs to Jump to EU/JP/OC, EU to jump to NA/JP/OC, ect.. so we can queue with people playing at our time... hopefully one day they will allow it once that gets implemented.

I would rather not play than play with bots; it would be pretty frustrating to get pulled into an AI game without opting in explicitly.

Bots in pvp games are literally the worst. Why would you ever want that? Especially since frontlines is already not a a very good pvp mode to begin with.
