I think I lost the lottery, but not sure

Can anyone confirm how you can tell if you won the lottery for those who took the refund due to the "ticket 0" bug?

I assume I lost since when I look under the estate window it just says that the results phase is happening, but I have no additional information in there. With how poorly SE messed this new system up I am hoping for confirmation that no info in the results line = loss and not that they screwed up further and my win/loss was not restored correctly.

If you go to the placard and it doesn't say you won and give you the option to claim the plot, you lost. When I checked this morning with my main, the placard said participant #2 (my alt) won. Since I'd already taken the refund there was nothing more. When I clicked it on my alt it told me I'd won and gave me the option to claim the plot.

The problem is that I do not recall exactly which ward I was in when I bid and had already moved on, with refund, before I found out that SE borked the lottery. I have visited a lot of plots that are still unclaimed (that looked familiar to me) with no luck, but was hoping there was something a little more definitive or explanatory.

Did you by chance check the interface to show the results (CTRL U)? Click on Estate, and at the top you can click on the lottery entry. It tells you which one you bid on. However, I don't know if that information is still there or not, and it was cleared out while we waited for the patch today. It may be there for this cycle.

Yeah, I checked that and when I click on it nothing happens. I checked online before posting this and saw some "walkthroughs" that showed a notepad icon at the far right and when you click on the lottery line under estate another window would pop up showing details of the plot.

Unfortunately I see no notepad icon nor details about what I bid on. I am going to assume (delude myself) that I just lost so there are no details and try not to think about how SE quite possibly messed up the restoration as I have seen some posts about winners getting messages that they can't claim their plot until "tomorrow".

I would keep looking if I were you. The 'tomorrow' notice is in fact just a textual error they confirmed on their Twitter feed. What Yoshi-P stated in his follow-up is accurate.

If anything, I would at least contact support, as they might be able to tell you if you cannot locate it.

Go to the Duty Menu and Timers at the bottom. There should be two tabs there one is Individual and the other Estate. Click on the Estate tab it should show the information at least I would hope so. I wasn't hit with a zero bug so I can't personally verify that.

Yeah, that's the 1st place I checked. I took Greyhawks advice and put in a support ticket so hopefully I can get an accurate answer one way or the other. Thanks though.

Collecting the refund likely removed the plot information from your timers. Unless you thought to take a screenshot when you placed your entry or collected your refund, I can't think of any other way to verify what plot you had selected.

Hopefully the GMs will be able to help you out.

Yeah, this seems to be what happened. There was a similar post up on the ffxiv reddit. Anyone that took the refund and doesn't remember the location is going to have to go plot by plot checking. Just remember 1-18 were fc only and 19-24 are personal so you don't have to check all 24 wards.
