I don't understand your problem. It's the same with YouTube for example. If you don't like the channel or the vid, than don't look it.
It's totally okay that this clubstuff isn't anyones cup of tea. But why you want to hit all people who like it and take it away from them?
It's also not against the ToS, when adult people are texting adult stuff consensually in their private chats. And I guess it's also not against the ToS when people trade their gil for chatting.

Mods are not allowed in general. But lots of people enjoy this and pay a sub. It would make not much sense for SE to destroy that part of their playerbase.
FF14 is a game full of adult people. And some adult people tend to do adult stuff from time to time, also when they are online in FF14.

We don't have to like all the stuff, but we can be nice and just live and let live.
I visited some clubs in the past and experienced never something strange, even if it was a 18+ club. So if people don't try to look for eRP, then the chance that they get asked for it is low.

In all matters of life I think..., if things does not hurt anyone, and someone don't likes it, then just do something else and don't focus the attention on disliked things.
It makes much more sense to give attention to the things we like. :3

This is a terrible example. People having a general dislike of NFTs is not comparable to 100's of thousands of people being banned from a game they've been playing for years for client side visual mods. It's not that people would quit in droves, it's that people would never adhere to such a mandate and thus they would be banned and thus Square would not get their money which would lead to a down spiral of funding and profit. They would just be throwing money away and gaining nothing from doing so at the expense of others while losing the goodwill of everyone who has interest in the game who isn't a puritan (or equivalent) which is probably most people.
