    Agreed so very much. Effort is fine but don't pretend bull crap luck based drops are related to effort. If you can go in and get lucky first try that undermines any idea of 'effort'. If it's x amount of kills to get a weapon then you can claim it's effort.

    It's 10 wins for garuda weapon, as long as they make it 1 totem 100% then it makes sense. Anything more than 1/run is too crazy

    NO problem with 100% drop rate on totems, but they need to increase the amount needed.

    Balance is the issue. Content cannot become null and void after a week from hardcores spamming it.

    I've Posted something fairly similar so i agree. main diference was that the "Signet" would be converted to weapon of choice at a "clickable thing" post fight. Like:

    Ifrit dead, chance to get "Ifrit Horn" item.
    Irfit dead, "Aether infused lava spout" spawns
    "Ifrit Horn" + "Lava Spout" = Ifrit weapon of your choice.

    Your idea would likely make it easier on SE to impliment. I liked mine mostly for the themeatic, and the Hurrah of equiping your new weapon right after the fight so everyone you killed ifrit with can Huzzah with you ^^

    Not in the same fashion with the same story. And you won't get the weapons that are dropping right now. I thought that was pretty much covered in 2.0 newsletter.

    Garuda already has this. There's no reason why Moogle and Ifrit shouldn't. Specially after they refused lowering the totem requirement. And specially when they are removing the fights come 2.0

    There's no information to indicate the fights will be removed, at any point.

    I agree that totem drop rate should be 100%. However, I also believe that it should cost 1 totem to get 1 weapon (and random weapon drops should be abolished). If SE expects us to farm Ifrit to get the primal weapons to convert them into materia to get the special materia such as Evenflow, etc. then this is really the only way to go about it. When future content opens, people won't have time to spam Ifrit repeatedly, and this content should have always been 1 win = 1 weapon.

    Remove double totems per player and make Totems 70% drop rate. Might wanna just increase all Weapons by 5%.

    Make it either drop the weapon or drop the 1 totem.
