well, hardcore players exploited garuda till 7/7 so fuck them. They've lost all my respect.I'm fully agree with the OP since I watch many new players challenging it
everyday without a single drop , but I doubt SE can do that
cuz some whiner hardcore player gonna whine about how much effort they put for 7/7
so why the other player who's not 7/7 will have to do it with less effort than them and say "It's so unfair"
whiner gonna whine anyway
/meh

Why is 7/7 the standard now? 7/7 is supposed to be "I went to Sky and got all god gear sets from it for all my jobs!" niche, its not supposed to be easy or the standard and it shouldn't be.
Getting A weapon should be a challenge, getting all of them should be hard.

I agree with the totem 100% drop rate...even if this means not having weapons dropping from primals anymore.

please please please make this happens!!!

I believe if they don't make this happen then we are fucked. No way we can get all 21 weapons in 3 months.
I believe a 100% drop rate on totem is not a bad idea. 50% totem rate would be more realistic. But either way, it should really not drop weapons anymore, and the cost of weapon should go up.
For example:
1 Weapon = 10 totems. For non-dedicated-super-douper-hard-core-player who only cares about 2 jobs:
20 totems, 30 minutes/run = 10 hours.
Therefore, one saturday or one weekend and this person is done with Iffy.
For example:
Souper-douper-obsessive-gotta-catch-em-all-player needs 7/7
70 totems, 30 minutes/run = 35 hours.
A weekend of Ifrit (or a slow week of ifrit) and this person is done with Iffy.
This may be much too fast for this sort of content for two reasons:
1) There will be 'less' to do after you are done.
2) Those who know how to beat iffy stop doing iffy, leaving all new players in a tougher learning curve (unable to benefit from experienced players).
(Kind of like Garuda, where many people got 7/7 in easy mode, and now do not want to partake in hard mode).

as the fight will not longer be available.
Well... if we want to take this perspective.....
The last week before 2.0 launch everything should drop quickly and easily from all the primals/dungeons before they are gone. A nice going away present ^.^;

I'll be really disappointed in SE if they didn't implement it in 1.22b ~

I definitely agree to this. Getting sick and tired of winning moogle 20 some times and not get anything out of it.
