The Players of Balmung (Meet and Greet topic)

Hello everyone. I am Kagato, player on the Balmung server. I realized that this is quite a popular server with players of all different sorts, even RPers and casual players alike. So, I figured we should all properly introduce ourselves so that maybe we could meet others, join linkshells, make friends, and see when people are around in order to set up events, parties, or just talk and meet each other. This topic isn't about everyone gathering in one spot at one time and having a big meeting. It's just a topic for people to see a bunch of players, see what they're like, and maybe make some friends and allies. So, let me start by introducing myself.

Main Class/Job(s): 25MRD and 22LNC (at the time of this post).

Crafts: Culinary

Time zone: EST

Times online: Afternoons as early as Noon and evenings as late as 10PM-2AM.

Roleplayer (Y/N): In the company of other RPers, yes. Otherwise, I'm OOC.

Linkshell Status: Part of 2 OOC social shells. Always willing to join more, be it RP or not. I also want to create my own shell, but not entirely sure if there's anyone who would want to join it since there's already so many shells out there.

About me in FFXIV: I intend to be a regular player. I don't see myself quitting anytime soon, so if I'm ever gone, it'll be for a short time. I plan on being as much of a Dark Knight as I'm allowed to be until one is officially released. I look forward to instanced events, such as raids and boss fights (my favorite). I'm just trying to meet others and earn some new friends so I'm not wandering the world by myself, relying on shouts in Ul'dah. I like the pirate theme of Limsa Lominsa and I like to imagine having my own in-game pirate ship and starting up my own pirate crew in Eorzea. Not sure if anyone would want to be a part of that or not yet so I don't bring it up much.

That about takes care of that. Post here if you'd like with your own info or ask some people questions if you're curious about something. If you see me running around the world, give me a /tell or a wave. I'm always in the mood for a chat. I just want my time in this game to be fun and enjoyable since I never took advantage of making friends and having that same kind of fun in FFXI.

About me in FFXIV: I started playing FFXIV in closed beta on Selbina, bought the CE and played the extra 10 days on Selbina but rerolled on Fabul on day 1 after the retail release. My goals in FFXIV are first and foremost to have fun, and secondly to make Abaddon the best shell on the server. My main focus for my shell is to be able to handle any content SE can throw at us without outside help, to include free company content in the future.

I'm an experienced gamer pretty much.
Played FFXI from its Launch til Aion, in which I've pushed myself from nothing to a top position on my server when I played pvp wise, console games, steam, etc. GW2 Beta invite player.
I duo with my RL boyfriend pretty much, whom I'm leveling my LNC with. So if you see me; usually hes following soon behind.

About me in FFXIV: Player since open beta, FFXI player on and off for 6+ years. Gaymer. In XIV I've only leveled a few classes and honestly the only job remotely interesting to me is BLM. I enjoy conquering end game and helping others. I'm looking forward to 2.0 and I'm enjoying the current Dalamud story arc a great deal.

About me in FFXIV: Played since CE with some friends from FF11. Stopped playing for awhile when I got irritated with no mailing system among other things that have already been spoken.
Subscribed when I saw the Legacy deal, figured the rewards would be worth putting up without a mailing system haha.

Other than that I like to talk, seriously. I much rather someone strike up a conversation (especially when I am crafting) with me or others as the game is more entertaining when you see all the other avatars are really people haha.
