I want an AK-47. xD
A big 2h hammer would be also really nice.
Cheers

I never get tired of this topic (I say genuinely). Melee Jobs are my favourite so I'm biased in that regard, but there's a few weapon types I can think of they could still add:
- Maces/Hammers, be it one or two-handed. Barely any outside of two? WAR weapons, or unique to NPCs (Nero, Gaia etc.). I'm surprised PLD never got any given they're often associated with holiness, clerics and the like.
- One-handed axes. Obviously WAR has a monopoly on the big ones, but their one-handed variant has been reserved almost exclusively for NPCs up until now. One of the MCH Job Quest NPCs uses one (with a pistol in his off-hand), as do all of the Beastmasters encountered in Bozja.
- Dual swords. It's a bit dicey because NIN has... quite a lot of sword-sized "daggers", it gets pretty ridiculous, but its stance is distinctive enough that I don't think they'd step on each other's toes too much? Something like Gabranth's stance I think would be different enough... and, speaking of Gabranth, those familiar with FFXII and/or Dissidia will know that his weapons come with a gimmick: they can be combined into one double-ended polearm, which leads us to...
- "Twinblades"! They have precedent in the series, first in FFIX, the so-called "Thief Swords", the aforementioned FFXII, and I think FFXIII's Lightning also gets one during her LB? or whatever the system was in that game? We already have 2 polearm Jobs, so I think combining Dual Swords+Twinblade could be a good way to make it stand out!
- Whips? Depending on how they're implemented this could technically also be an Aiming Job...I don't really have a stake in this race, I kind of hate whips being treated as a legitimate weapon lol
Me personally I wish they'd add another sword DPS, one ideally using two-handed longswords... but unfortunately PLD already has "longswords" even if they're used one-handed (common video game 'mistake'), so I don't think that's happening anymore
Glamour without restrictions* is long overdue!

I know this is a really bad picture, just took a screenie from a YT video.
But I thought that after seeing the Double-Blade Ravana does when going from Part 1 to Part 2 was a tease of an upcoming weapon.
I'd like to see this still.
I actually did think we would get FFXII Judge, a variation thereof, as the Maiming Job in Endwalker until RPR was properly revealed. Might be an expansion or two before it gets another shot, unless they make it a Tank rather than DPS?

I could see it being a tank that uses the Tactics Advance law card system.
You could choose a type of damage or action to "outlaw" for a few seconds, then if the enemy performs that action they receive reflected damage or a debuff as penalty. It would be a prediction tank rather than reaction.
Could always go with a magic caster that uses a pendant as a catalyst. Animations can be making different patterns while swinging it around for the spells.
I think we'll get a Caster DPS and a Tank next expansion, for their weapons I'd like to see...
Tank: One handed axe and a chain in the offhand that works like a makeshift shield around the arm when not used, yes it's for Beastmaster.
Caster: Casters are the only role without a hightech weapon so, I'd like to see a giant magitech rifle that can load up spells.
Dual-Swords / Thief Swords a la Zidane/Gabranth please.
Hammer/Mace
Whip
Ball (Blitzball???)
Bell (Geomancer)
Ba'Gamnan's chainsaw.
