Most people who don't use addons just don't want them to become required. I personally wouldn't want this to be like WoW where in order to complete harder content I would have to look up guides, rotations, builds, which covenant to join, install dps meters, install weakauras, etc just to even try to prog the content. I just want it to stay like it is where most rotations can be figured out by someone sitting at a training dummy reading their skills and trying out a couple different rotations to see how they interact. The level of optimization people are talking about with all of these parsing addons and guides aren't needed to clear the content, even for savages. It's great and hopefully the game stays that way.

Having to install x addons or you get kicked and whispered racial slurs is the worst part of WoW and their community around content and raiding, and something that would be awful if it made its way over here.
